If you want to download Warzone on your PC, there are four steps you need to follow, but thankfully, none of them are particularly difficult, and the most frustrating point will likely be waiting for it to be ready to play.

The four steps are:

  1. Check your PC to make sure it meets the system requirements
  2. Choose your platform
  3. Download the Call of Duty app
  4. Install Warzone

Warzone PC platforms

Warzone can be played on two platforms, Steam and Battle.net. Originally, Call of Duty was only available on Activision’s Battle.net platform, but they have finally removed that barrier and now we can choose which one we prefer.

For many, you’ll already have a Steam account, so I recommend using it, but it’s up to you in the end and you can still play with people from all platforms regardless of which one you choose.

Download the Call of Duty app

If you download Steam and Battle.net, but can’t find Warzone when you search for it, then don’t panic. You first need to download the Call of Duty app, which acts as a hub for all things CoD. In it, you can play Warzone, and current mainline CoD titles too.

Install Warzone

Once you’ve installed the Call of Duty app, boot it up. There, you can then select which modes you want to install. Choose Warzone, and the installation will start. After that, all you need to do it wait for it download, and soon you’ll be jumping into the action.
