Finishing Moves in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone are fun to execute. They’re rarely used, however, because they take time to pull off. Some challenges in the game require you to perform some finishing moves. So how do you actually do them? Is it worth buying a bundle from the store with a cool finishing move or is it too difficult to pull off in-game?
How to perform a Finishing Move in Call of Duty MW3
In multiplayer game modes or Warzone game modes, you can perform a finishing move by holding down your melee button directly behind an enemy player. Regardless of platform or button assignment for melee, just hold it down, make sure you’re close enough to the enemy player’s back, and the execution will begin.
Additionally, there are a number of finishing moves available in the game. Some are unlocked for free just by playing, but many more are available through bundles in the CoD store that cost real money. They range from a simple stab in the back, all the way to spinning your opponent around and launching them into the air like a superhero wrestler.
The weapon you’re using, whether a gun or melee weapon, does not affect the finishing move. You can use any gun in the game, or any knife variation, and you’ll still perform your selected finisher. If your finishing move of choice involves a certain melee weapon in the animation, you don’t need to have it on you for it to work.
What is the easiest way to get finishing move kills in Modern Warfare 3?
Some challenges require finishing move kills in Call of Duty, and there is an easier way to get them. Getting into a regular multiplayer match, finding an unsuspecting enemy, and performing the full finishing move before getting killed by someone else is very difficult. Your best bet in multiplayer matches is to find a player who isn’t currently playing, hopefully hidden in the back of their spawn point somewhere.
The real easiest way to perform finishing moves is in Warzone game modes. Whether it’s Plunder, Resurgence, or Battle Royale, enemy players get downed. This way, you can down an enemy by shooting them, then run over and perform the execution while they’re downed and unable to fight back. If you can get someone inside a small house or building, especially when their teammates are dead or too far away, you’ll be perfectly safe inside doing your finishing move.
