How to delete your custom armor set in Space Marine 2

Too many fits, but not enough space

When you start decking out your custom armor set in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, you may want to delete it and start over. Sometimes, you may want to create room for different looks.

Many of us will run into the fact that there are only four slots per class, so we’ll want to delete some. The problem is, where’s the delete button? Or better yet, how do we delete the sets? Here’s what you should know.

Unfortunately, there isn’t an exact way to delete your armor in Space Marine 2. Instead, you’d have to overwrite an existing armor set and modify it around a new look that you have in mind.

This also applies to the Astartes Chapters in the same customization menu. You’d have to go into the set you no longer want and modify it into something else. You’ll have to manually delete the Custom Rules for individual armor pieces and do all that over again.

Once you delete a custom ruleset for a specific armor piece in your Astartes Chapters Heraldry Editor, a newly added one will give you a blank slate. While this is useful, it’s the only form of actually deleting customizations and being able to start anew.

The only good thing about this part is that with each class, you get four slots both in the PvP and PvE modes. In total, you get eight slots. The armor pieces, paint jobs, and emblems carry over between both modes too.

This may come as a disappointment for many as navigating menus can be tedious. Hopefully, Saber Interactive will add the delete button in the future since customization is a big part of the game and we’d love to get through this quicker to get back into the action.
