How to complete Wishfield Journal: Wishfield Chronicle in Infinity Nikki

The final hoorah

The fifth and final day of the Wishfield Journal event has come to Infinity Nikki, and the prize of a new profile background is within reach. The final group of four objectives is surprisingly simple to complete, and you may have done most of them already.

Day five of the Wishfield Journal event is titled Wishfield Chronicle, and it requires you to complete four different basic tasks that will happen over the course of regular playing. Here’s everything you need to know in order to complete day five’s goals.

If you happen to have completed some of day five’s objectives during previous playing, then you’ll receive the reward immediately upon logging in and checking on the event page. If not, here’s how to complete all of them.

How to groom a Bibcoon in Infinity Nikki

Bibcoon Fan: “Groom a Bibcoon.”

Bibcoons are beloved in Florawish, with a bar dedicated entirely to their likeness. If you want to groom one, you’ll first need to unlock the Bye-Bye Dust Grooming Ability Outfit, and then you’ll need to track one down.

Bibcoons can be found in a single location to the southeast of the Wishing Tree in Florawish, roaming the streets outside the bar with a giant statue of one above the door, as shown in the image below:

They’re very friendly little creatures, so don’t worry about trying to sneak up on them, just waltz up and whip out your grooming brush. Grooming a Bibcoon will not only tick off the objective from today’s event page, but also give you a Bibcoon Furball to use in crafting.

How to catch a fish in Infinity Nikki

Master Angler: “Catch any fish over 3.3kg.”

While I can’t help you pinpoint a location where you’re guaranteed to reel in the necessary chunky fish, I do have some pointers for fishing in general that might be of use.

For starters, fishing can only be done once you’ve unlocked the Rippling Serenity Fishing Ability Outfit via the Heart of Infinity. Then, you can only fish in locations where there are ripples and fish visibly swimming around.

Once you’ve found a spot, just press your ability button to cast your line and then wait for something to bite. When it does press to hook the fish, then you’ll need to pull in the opposite direction to where the fish is pulling to wear it out. Once the dial is depleted, you can start to reel. On PC, use the S button to hook a fish, A and D keys to wear it out, and then repeatedly click the right mouse button to reel it in.

Again, there’s no way to guarantee a heavy catch, but fishing regularly will maximize your chances of ticking off this objective.

Warp Spires are found close to any notable location on the map, and you will likely tick off this objective without any added effort on your part as long as you explore the world around you thoroughly.

There are way more than 25 Warp Spires to be unlocked across Miraland, split into the following distinct regions:

  • Memorial Mountains – 3 Warp Spires
  • Florawish – 9 Warp Spires
  • Breezy Meadow – 14 Warp Spires
  • Stoneville – 8 Warp Spires
  • Abandoned District – 29 Warp Spires
  • Wishing Woods – ? Warp Spires

Even just thoroughly exploring The Abandoned District, which you’ll unlock during Chapter 3, will allow you to unlock more than enough Warp Spires to tick off this goal from day five of the Wishfield Journal event.

How to find the Kingdom Guards’ Office

Unboxing Thrill: “Find the advanced chest near the Kingdom Guards’ Office.”

This might be the one that you’ve not completed, as the chest is pretty hidden away. To find it, head to the Kingdom Guards’ Office in Florawish, as shown on the map below. It’s the same building you visited in Chapter 2 to interrogate the Wish Envoy:

When you’re standing outside of the Kingdom Guards’ Office, look up and to the right to find the balcony there. The chest is located on this balcony, so you’ll need to get up onto the roof to access it. The easiest way to do this is by jumping onto the trellis on the right side of the building, up onto the roof and then down onto the balcony to open the chest.

There are also three Dews of Inspiration on the higher balcony on the tower, so make sure to grab those for Kilo the Cadenceborn as well.
