How to complete the Ultimate Cat Lady Challenge in BitLife

BitLife’s Ultimate Cat Lady challenge is one of several cat-related events added to the game, but it takes things a step further by introducing Zoo expansion mechanics. Rather than just adopting or buying a few house cats, you’ll have to risk your life and savings to succeed this time around. Here’s how to complete the Ultimate Cat Lady challenge in BitLife.

BitLife’s Ultimate Cat Lady challenge has five objectives to complete:

• Be born a female
• Purchase a zoo
• Fill an entire habitat with Big Cats
• Successfully breed 10+ different Big Cats
• Spend time with an albino lion

Completing this challenge requires purchasing the Zoo expansion pack through the BitLife marketplace for real money. If you don’t own the pack and don’t wish to spend money on the game, you won’t be able to finish the challenge. Otherwise, you can pick up the pack from the marketplace and unlock zoos for this playthrough.

Be born a female

The first task of the Ultimate Cat Lady challenge is to be born a female. It doesn’t matter what your starting country is as long as you pick female as your starting gender. This also means you don’t have to start a fresh playthrough if you have a character ready to buy a zoo or who already owns one.

Purchase a zoo

Next on the list is purchasing a zoo. If you have its expansion pack, you can buy a zoo by heading into Activities and the Zoo menu. Here, you’ll find them at various price points, typically ranging from $300,000 to $4,000,000.

With that said, you’ll need a lot of money to apply for a mortgage and maintain its annual expenses. Although you’ll receive a government stipend to help build up the zoo, you’ll still require some starter funds to buy it. Animals also cost quite a lot of money, so be prepared to spend millions on this venture. In short, make a ton of money through any means necessary.

Once you decide on a zoo to buy and pick a name, you’ll be ready to fill some habitats with big cats.

Fill an entire habitat with Big Cats

After buying a zoo and giving it a name, you’ll find all kinds of menus for your animals, activities, and zoo upgrades. Typically, you’ll already have a habitat with animals inside; if you’re lucky, you’ll already have big cats. If not, you can create a new habitat by heading into the zoo’s habitats menu. For this challenge, I started with an arctic one but eventually bought desert and savanna exhibits.

Once you make your habitats, select it to find an “Add Animals” tab. Open the trading post and search the list until you spot an animal like a lion, jaguar, leopard, or tiger. Alternatively, you can use the trading post menu to find a direct list, which you can refresh until you find what you need. If you’re lucky, you might find an albino lion here within your first few searches.

Your goal is to fill an entire exhibit with these big cats, so expect to buy at least a few. As there is an initially limited supply of them, you may also have to close and reopen the menu or age up until you spot more big cats. Repeat this until you fill an entire habitat or have enough to start breeding.

Successfully breed 10+ different Big Cats

Once you buy some big cats, it’s time to start breeding them. Breeding a bunch of big cats is another way to fulfil the previous task, but it’ll take longer than just buying them all.

You can breed your big cats by selecting one, choosing a mate, and paying the cost. If you have the Golden Pacifier, this entire process will be far easier, as it’ll guarantee they breed. Otherwise, there’s a chance it’ll fail. Regardless of the initial outcome, you’ll have to repeat this at least ten times to finish this task.

Spend time with an albino lion

Your last goal is to spend time with an albino lion. Albino lions are fairly rare and appear as a Savanna habitat animal, so you’ll want to actively search the trading post like you would with your other big cats. Generally speaking, this part is luck-dependent.

Alternatively, you can use the Exotic Pet Dealer by heading into Activities’ Pets menu. However, this cycles through a bunch of rare and exotic animals, so your odds of finding an albino lion here are still low. Nonetheless, it’s another option you can try between your zoo searches.
