How to complete the Nurse Miriam friendship bond in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

No classes needed

As I’ve said in the past, I never really engaged with the entire aspect of the academy inĀ Pokemon Scarlet & Violet in both of my playthroughs until the postgame. That’s actually the best time to do it! Not only can you net a few cool items, but you can also get more insight into the world of Paldea, as well as the characters therein.

Track down Nurse Miriam at the academy, and keep chatting with her

While several of the teacher storylines ask you to take classes directly with professors, Nurse Miriam is a bit easier to navigate. To start all this, head to the academy and interact with the little monitor in the main hall, to the right of the front desk (or any other monitor on campus).

All you need to do is search for her icon on the academy fast travel map, select it, zone in, and talk to her. Nurse Miriam has purple hair, and you can find an icon of her character model in the gallery above. Generally, she will be found in the Nurse’s Office. There’s no need to worry about friendship bonds via any other questline or task: instead just having conversations with her will get the job done.

What does Nurse Miriam give you at the end of the friendship bond questline?

After all that, Nurse Miriam will gift you 10 max revives. If that isn’t worth it to you, you can safely skip this sidequest!

Here’s how her storyline plays out:

  • You’ll talk to her and convince her to to take the health teacher certification exam
  • She’ll pass the exam and give you a gift
