How to complete the Multi-Season sets at the Museum in Fields of Mistria

More sets, more rewards

It’s an unwritten rule that any good life sim should have a museum where you can hand in items to complete collections and earn rewards. Fields of Mistria is no exception to this rule, with hundreds of items of all different types to hand in.

The first major update to Fields of Mistria on November 18 added some new collections to the Museum, including the new Multi-Season sets in the fish and insect wings. Prior to the update, fish or bugs that could spawn in more than one season were generally not included in any collections at the Museum, but this update changes that, and there are new rewards up for grabs, too.

The Multi-Season Fish set is by far the easiest of the two new sets to complete. All of the included fish are common and can spawn in any season, including Winter, so there is no limit to when you can go fishing and work towards completing the set.

On top of that, you can narrow down the search for each fish because not only do they each spawn in specific locations, but they also have specific shadow sizes. This means you don’t have to waste energy fishing up every fish in a location but can focus on the specific shadow size of the fish you’re looking for.

Here’s all of the fish included in the Multi-Season Fish set, as well as their shadow sizes and where they spawn:

The Multi-Season Insect set is much harder to complete, especially if you’re starting the search in the Fall, frantically searching to find them before the first day of snow. Four of the five insects included in the set will not spawn during Winter, so you’ll have to find them in Spring, Summer, or Fall instead.

On top of this, each insect will only spawn during specific weather conditions and at certain times of the day. All of this adds up to become quite frustrating, but you can make it easier on yourself by remembering a few things:

  • Chopping down long grass can sometimes cause insects to spawn, especially on the Farm
  • These insects can spawn anywhere other than the Beach or inside the Mines, so explore all other areas thoroughly during their spawn windows
  • You can check what kind of weather you’re going to have the next day by using the Crystal Ball or on the day by checking the icon next to the date in the top right corner of the screen

Here are all of the insects included in the Multi-Season Insect set, as well as all the information you’ll need to find them:
