InĀ The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link and the player tackle numerous catastrophes and calamities. It can get tiring. So sometimes it’s nice to settle down and solve a nice civil dispute, like the one in The Missing Farm Tools.

This side adventure is part of the Lucky Clover Gazette quest line in Tears of the Kingdom. Through it, you travel to various stables across Hyrule with your reporter pal Penn, solving local problems while searching for clues about Zelda’s whereabouts.

How to start The Missing Farm Tools inĀ TOTK

For The Missing Farm Tools, you’ll head out to the Wetland Stable, east of Lookout Landing and bordering the actual wetlands leading into the Zora’s Domain. You’ll find Penn deep in contemplation near the stable building. In my game, it actually looked like he was talking with a bunch of birds, which was fun.

Penn will tell you that reports indicate Princess Zelda borrowed some farming tools from a local and never returned them. It’s small scale, but any lead’s a good one. Head down to the nearby river dock and chat with Izra to learn more.

Izra wants to get his farm tools back, but he’ll need to head down-river to the place where Zelda took them. And for that, he’ll need a boat. That’s where Ultrahand comes in.

Building a boat for The Missing Farm Tools

There’s already a raft floating next to the dock, but you’ll want some extra control for the river rapids, as well as some speed and power. Thankfully, a nearby piece of a sky island crashed down with just the tools you’ll need.

Izra will automatically sit in the little bench that’s on the raft, so orient your build accordingly. You only really need a wind fan, control unit, and the battery to get through this section fairly easily. But as always, I highly recommend having some fun with it. I, for instance, added a little sunshade.

Once the raft is built, you can tell Izra to hop on and cut the rope holding the raft in place. Hop on and make your way downriver. It’s a fairly easy sail from point A to B, so long as you watch out for rocks and lean into the corners. Use your wind fan to help power yourself through the turns, and you should easily arrive at the dock through Izra’s instructions.

After arriving, you’ll learn that Magda has the tools. She worked with Zelda to start a plant sanctuary on the island, but has had trouble since the princess’ disappearance. Izra accidentally volunteers himself to help, and Penn has a great profile piece on Zelda’s hobbies.

You’ll get some rupees once he soars in, as well as any rewards you’ve accumulated from the number of Lucky Clover quests you’ve finished thus far. Take in the beauty of the local flora, and then head back to Traysi for your next Lucky Clover assignment.
