How to complete the Lost and Found quest in Cat Quest 3

Finders, givers.

Three citizens of Pawt Purvanna are missing precious items, and it’s your job to find them in the Lost and Found quest in Cat Quest 3. Your job won’t be finished after returning the items, however. You’ll have one last task to complete.

But first, the items.

Lost and Found item #1 – Jug o’ Milk

After reaching Pawt Purvanna, head southeast toward the Great Purrier Reef. Hit the beach and go west until you stumble on a tombstone with a flashing conversation marker. Activating the tombstone gives you a puzzle to solve.

The tombstone’s puzzle tells you to follow the beach and search for starfish. Follow the beach until you find a group of four and five starfish. Between the two groups is an activation marker. Press it to find the first item buried in the sand: the Jug o’ Milk.

Lost and Found item #2 – Smithy Hammer

The second Lost and Found item is to the west, located on the Twilight Isles. Seek out a small beach on the northern part of the island. You’ll find another tombstone, once again with a flashing conversation marker.

Activating the tombstone gives you another puzzle, which asks you to navigate to the map coordinates of “6, 32.” The longitude and latitude are along the edges of the map, with the former at the bottom and the latter on the sides (meaning the X and Y coordinates). The location you need to go to is… oh, right next to the beach. Huh.

It’s not a hard puzzle, but you do have to take down the island gates to reach the beach. Once you do, look for a small rock on the sand next to the Rest Beacon and activate it to get the Smithy Hammer.

Lost and Found item #3 – Voodoo Doll

The third item for the Lost and Found quest is to the north at the Sunset Islands. Look for a gravestone on the small island to the south of the main island. The puzzle asks you to go east of the “fiery hideout” and look for an island to the east with a “guiding star.”

The clue leads us to the small, crescent-shaped island on the eastern part of the Sunset Islands. Look for a red bush just above the North Star Beacon.

Under the bush is our third item, the Voodoo Doll.

Now, it’s time to take all three items back to their proper owners.

Head back to Pawt Purvanna. Give the Jug o’ Milk to Mama Milka at the Milky Barrel tavern, the Smithy Hammer to Kidd Cat at the Smithy, and the Voodoo Doll to Mage Bonney at The Magic Bone. Doing so will reward you with a Knight Shield, a Knight Armor, and the Icepaw spell, respectively, along with gold and experience points.

After handing off the final item, go back outside to discover the perpetrator who stole the goods.

We’re not done yet! As you return each item, the owner asks you for a final favor.

  • Mama Milka asks you to defeat the Cathulhu
  • Kidd Cat requests a Dragon Bone
  • Mage Bonney wants you to find the Necropawmicon

Let’s get back out to sea.

Lost and Found quest: Where to find Cathulhu

Mama Milka actually does clue you in on Cathulhu’s location. The beast is to the north-east section of the map. You’ll need to find an island with a marker and activate it to summon the monster.

Be warned that you need to be at a high level to defeat the creature. Once you do, bring the Fang of Cathulhu back to Mama Milka for your reward: Pawer Milk accessory.

Lost and Found quest: Dragon Bone location

The Dragon Bone is located on the Furggy Islands on the southwest corner of the map. You’ll need to defeat the Pi-rat King’s flagship to open the gate on the island, and then the Pi-rat King himself. The ship is level 60, so you’ll need to be at least level 50 or so to take on this task.

Once the gate is down, enter the dungeon via the dragon skeleton. The Pi-rat King is inside, ready for your legendary duel. You’ll be rewarded with his gear and the Dragon Bone after you win.

Return the Dragon Bone to Kidd Cat, who will craft you a powerful weapon: The Dragonbone.

Lost and Found quest: Necropawmicon location

The Necropawmicon is the trickiest to track down. To find it, head southeast to the Twin Islands. You’ll need to solve the mystery of the Twin Castles and defeat The Necromouser for the book.

Return the book to Mage Bonney for the Pawer Up spell, which increases all damage dealt for a limited time.
