How to finish the Share Some Sweetness duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Completing the Share Some Sweetness duty requires finding marshmallows, turning them into Roasted Marshmallows, and sharing them with your villagers during the End of Summer event. You’ll need pink and blue marshmallows to make the meal, which you can then gift to any character in Dreamlight Valley.

The End of Summer event introduced two marshmallow recipes:

  • S’mores
  • Roasted Marshmallows

While it was previously believed you could use either dish or had to give both to your villagers, you only have to give roasted marshmallows out. Keep your s’mores for the Savor Some Sweetness duty; you’ll need to eat 25 of them to get your second reward. Gifting your s’mores won’t count toward Share Some Sweetness, so don’t worry about giving them to anyone.

Roasted Marshmallows recipe

You can make Roasted Marshmallows using the following recipes:

  • Blue marshmallow (2)
  • Pink marshmallow (2)

Once you have each item, use them in a cooking pot to create the dish. Repeat this 25 times to get everything you need for the Share Some Sweetness duty. From here, gift them to your villagers so you can finish the task and get a cosmetic prize.

How to find marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Marshmallows are only available during Disney Dreamlight Valley’s End of Summer event, which lasts from September 4 to 26. You’ll get them by harvesting marshmallow plants in the Plaza and finding them on the ground in various biomes. While this means you’ll have three weeks to get them, it also means you can’t complete the Share Some Sweetness duty until it begins.

While pink marshmallow bushes spawn exclusively in the Plaza, blue marshmallows appear in the following biomes:

  • Plaza
  • Peaceful Meadow
  • Dazzle Beach
  • Forest of Valor
  • Glade of Trust

Once the End of Summer event begins, you’ll unlock camping-related furniture and items alongside marshmallow plants and randomized floor spawns. Upon logging into Disney Dreamlight Valley during the event, you’ll encounter both marshmallows, making them easily accessible even for new players.
