How to complete Search Party: Pipe Park in Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Search Party: Pipe Park is one of a handful of puzzle-oriented levels in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. While there are some hidden blocks here, the focus this time around is – you guessed it – pipes.

To beat Search Party: Pipe Park, you’ll need to do more than just go in and out of all the pipes. You’ll have to solve some perspective-based puzzles and push a pipe around too. Like the other Search Party stages, this one’s mostly intended for multiplayer parties, but is entirely beatable solo. That said, to make one Wonder Coin easier to get, set your Badge to either Wall-Climb Jump, Crouching High Jump, or Boosting Spin Jump. You’ll find out why soon enough.

Also, choosing Blue Toad will make one Wonder Coin slightly easier to obtain, but this isn’t necessary for completing the stage.

Where to find all Wonder Coins in Search Party: Pipe Park in Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Wonder Coin 1

The first coin in the sequence will immediately show why I recommended those badges above. On the top-left section of the stage, you’ll see what appears to be a wall with a pipe sticking out of it. You can actually jump over that Pipe, which will reveal a hidden area on the other side.

The easiest way to get to this section is to simply jump from the pipe pictured above. Use your badge of choice to clear the wall and you’ll be on your merry way.

Wonder Coin 2

Even though this is technically the second coin in the sequence, it’s likely the first one you’ll find. When you begin the stage, you’ll see a series of pipes. While you can enter most of them, they mostly just interlink with each other. The one exception is the sixth pipe in the sequence on the bottom, as pictured above. Travel down this pipe.

Afterwards, you’ll see what appears to be the Wonder Coin right in front of you. However, this is actually a perspective trick. To actually get to the coin, you’ll want to enter a hidden pipe located where Mario is looking in the screenshot above. This will spit you out of the pipe you see on the right side of the stage.

Grab the coin and go back to the main stage the way you came.

Wonder Coin 3

This is a really easy one. On the top-right side of the map, you can stand on the third pipe in the sequence to raise the first pipe, as pictured above. Step onto the raised pipe before it falls back down and leap through the bridge above. This will reveal the third Wonder Coin.

You can also just jump right up to this one if you have the right Badge equipped. I’m not here to tell you how to live your life.

Wonder Coin 4

Now we come to some classic invisible block searching in this Search Party stage. On the bottom section of the screen, enter the pipe on the right to travel into the room pictured above. You’ll see a rope you can pull, which is required to obtain the fourth Wonder Coin. However, if you just drag the rope to the wall, it’ll just retract the second you let go.

To pull the rope far enough, you actually need to uncover two invisible blocks, as pictured above. Blue Toad can reveal these if you’re playing as him, but any character can bump into these.

Pull the rope up and jump from the second block while still holding onto it, and you’ll snap the rope entirely. This will drop the Wonder Coin on the ground, which you can immediately pick up.

Wonder Coin 5

The final Wonder Coin in Search Party: Pipe Park is easy to get once you know the gimmick. On the top-right section of the stage, enter the second to last pipe in the sequence in front of you (pictured above). This will bring you into the small alcove to the right.

Despite what you may initially think, you don’t want to enter any other pipes here. Instead, push on the pipe against what appears to be the wall to the right. You’ll find that you can move this one quite easily.

With the final Wonder Coin revealed, grab it and return to the center of the stage to claim your Wonder Seed. Congratulations on clearing Search Party: Pipe Park!
