Moblins’ Revenge is the sixth challenge at the Slumber Dojo in Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. While it can be daunting to take on that many enemies solo, don’t be tempted to waste time summoning any Echoes.
The Slumber Dojo is located in Kakariko Village, which itself can be found by hearing northwest from Hyrule Castle Town. It’s a rich source of valuable rewards, including Smoothie ingredients, and shouldn’t be slept on. And yes, that pun was very much intended.
How to complete Moblins’ Revenge at the Slumber Dojo
Time limit: 1 minute
Additional rules: No access to Smoothies or Potions
Rewards:
- 20 Rupees (clear within 1 minute)
- + 3 Monster Stones (clear within 34 seconds)
The enemies you’ll be facing in this challenge are:
- 10 Spear Mobllins
Spear Moblins can do a fair amount of damage by throwing their spears at you, but luckily, you have full health in this challenge. There are a couple of ways you can make sure this challenge is over quickly.
Method one: Call out the Caromadillos
The first method you can use to get through this challenge is by calling on your Caromadillo Lv. 2 Echoes. They do more damage to the Spear Moblins than they take, so you can just summon them toward a wall and let them bounce around, taking out the Spear Moblins one by one. If a Caromadillo gets taken out, simply summon another one to take its place.
The downside to this method is that if a Spear Moblin hops up onto the Boulders near the entrance, the Caromasillos cannot hit them, which can eat up precious time if you’re going for a fast clear.
Method two: Go in all guns (or swords, in this case) blazing
In what can only be described as a blessing, you have access to Swordfighter Form when participating in this challenge. This makes things incredibly easy, as you can just go into Swordfighter Form and charge headfirst into battle with the Spear Moblins.
Each Spear Moblin only takes two or three whacks with the Mighty Sword to take down, and because you have all of your hearts, you don’t have to worry too much about taking some spears to the face while you swing your sword around.
Using this method can mitigate the issue with Spear Moblins hopping up onto the Boulders to gain a height advantage, because you can simply hop up there too. Or, if you have them unlocked, use the Mighty Bow or Mighty Bombs to do damage from below.
