The newest Phalanx faction in Call of Duty: Warzone DMZ has presented us with some challenging yet fun missions. Some tasks require hacking Signals Intelligence Contracts on Vondel, while others involve complex objectives across multiple maps. Another exciting Tier 3 Story mission offered by this faction not only unlocks the next tier, but also rewards you with the Revolution’s Wave Vehicle Skin upon completion. The DMZ mission is called Go for a Drive and consists of three objectives.

Black Mous urgently needs data from Vondel, and our Phalanx members have identified a specific vehicle that serves as a mobile command center. Your mission is to seize control of this vehicle while simultaneously downloading the data onto an encrypted hard drive. This crucial information must then be safely dropped off, as it can help pinpoint key enemy locations. So let’s dive into the details of the mission’s objectives and explore what awaits us.

How to get an encrypted hard drive?

Firstly, you must acquire an encrypted hard drive on Vondel. Try searching for them in supply drops, with the best-case scenario being finding one in your initial supply drop. If luck isn’t on your side, don’t worry ā€“ their spawn rate is quite high in supply drops, so you should be able to secure one in the next few drops.

Additionally, you might come across these hard drives at locations with computers. So, while you’re on the lookout for supply drops, it’s worth checking places that have computers as well. Once you have obtained it, you’ll complete the first objective.

As a side note, don’t carry the hard drive before deploying on the map. Several players have reported completing the first objective but not having the mission marked as completed even after finishing all three tasks. It might be a bug or some other issue, but to be on the safe side, make sure to acquire a fresh hard drive after deploying on the map.

For the second task, locate a Chop Top, which is a jeep with an open top. These vehicles will appear on your map with an icon similar to the one shown above. Ensure you have the hard drive and drive the vehicle for two minutes on the map. Although the mission objective states that you need to drive the vehicle, you can simply remain seated in it, and the progress bar will continue to fill. Just remember not to exit the vehicle before the progress bar is complete.

In the event that the progress bar disappears despite doing everything correctly, don’t worry. Just stay seated in the vehicle, and the task will complete after two minutes.

Finally, drop off the loaded hard drive in the Zoo dumpster. This is perhaps the most popular and frequently visited dead drop on Vondel. If you’re unsure of its location, refer to the marked spot on the map above.

Once you complete this step, you can consider the Go for a Drive mission in DMZ accomplished.
