The Ghost of Our Love side quest in Hogwarts Legacy is certainly magical. However, it also has a confusing navigation quirk! Here’s how to finish this mission.
Where to go for the Ghost of Our Love side quest
You’ll first need to accept the Ghost of Our Love side quest in Hogwarts Legacy. However, the location of it depends on which house you’re a part of.
- Gryffindor: The town of Hogsmeade
- Slytherin: Go to the Squid cave that’s below Hogwarts
- Ravenclaw: The Owlery
- Hufflepuff: Go to a vault that’s close to Upper Hogsfield
Once you’ve started the Ghost of Our Love mission, you’ll be given a map. It’s quite confusing where it is as it has no map location on it, unlike the musical map.
If you look closely at the map’s landmarks, you may figure out you need to go to the Forbidden Forest. Go to the fast travel Floo Powder spot in the above picture.
How to complete this mission
Once you’ve teleported there, head to the bridge crossing the river. There’s a love letter placed on the left pedestal.
Now, change the time of day to night. You can do this by accessing the map and then pressing the right analog stick. Once the night sky approaches, cast Lumos while standing on the bridge.
If you’ve forgotten how to change spells, press right on the D-Pad and then assign it from that menu. It’s the blue spell with a shining wand emblem on it.
Once you use Lumos, the camera will spin around and focus on candles floating in front of you. Follow them. They’ll lead you to a bunch of candles gathering around a table for two. The protagonist wonders how the Forbidden Forest can be romantic.
The chest is next to the white table on the right side. You’ll gain the Treasure-Seeker’s Scarf and 400 Gold for your troubles after opening it.
