The latest expedition in No Manās Sky is the Liquidators which takes players on a journey to multiple star systems to join hands with the Liquidator Vanguard in their quest to defeat swarms of biological horrors from the galaxy.
This No Man’s Sky expedition is split up into five phases, each with its own set of milestones to complete for rewards. While most of the milestones should not cause you much trouble and have pretty straightforward steps, there are some challenges which could potentially eat up hours of time if players are not looking in the right direction.
One such challenge is the Apex Predator milestone in Phase 3. It requires players to find, scan and analyse a predator creator that has aggression levels over 12.0 pav in No Man’s Sky. Upon completing this objective, players will receive a Supreme Scanning System Upgrade, a Pre-packaged Combat Scope Unit, and 240 Mordite.
To find such a creature, No Man’s Sky players should ideally start their search on exotic planets that have very few number of creatures on them. This creates more chances of running into a predator with the required aggression levels. When you find an exotic planet, drop down to it, and scan any creature there, and you can then find out how many creatures there are in total on that planet. This can be done from the Discovery section in the menus.
Apex Predator milestone locations in No Man’s Sky
No Man’s Sky players who are tired of trying to look for a predator or are into a speedrun and want to just move onto the next milestone can simply head to any of the following planets to find a predator above 12 pav:
Deng IV in the Ulvemar Minor System: It is located in the same star system as that of Dropzone 3 and should have a predator with over 12.0 pav.
Anvey VIII, Uooyiiji System: This planet is from Dropzone 4, and players are most likely to find a predator here with the required aggression levels if they look for it in the ocean.
