How to collect War Machine’s Arsenal, Auto-turret, and Hover Jets in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4

These are very overpowered.

Fortnite’s Marvel event during Chapter 5, Season 4 introduces some incredibly powerful weapons you can use to wipe out players left, right, and center. The War Machine weapon set is currently among the strongest in the game, especially once you start combining them with other items.

Where to find War Machine’s Arsenal, Auto-turret, and Hover Jets in the Fortnite Marvel event

All three War Machine items are found as chest loot during your Fortnite matches, particularly in Dr Doom and Avenger’s chests. While there’s a chance you’ll find them elsewhere, searching these treasure caches and eliminating other players are your best bets for getting your hands on these three items.

However, you’ll have to claim the War Machine’s Arsenal, Auto-turret, and Hover Jets from chests if you’re trying to complete a specific quest. Often, picking them up from the floor or an enemy drop won’t count toward the objective, requiring you to find it as treasure chest loot instead.

You’re also not guaranteed to spot War Machine items in every Dr Doom or Avenger Chest you open. You can find regular weapons and consumables here, alongside other event items like Captain America’s Shield.

War Machine’s Arsenal

War Machine’s Arsenal is a golden Mythic-grade weapon that initially looks like Nitro Fists from Chapter 5, Season 3. However, rather than punching your enemies to death, these launch powerful rockets from your arms and back. They’re primarily a long-range weapon that can quickly wipe out someone’s health if you land some solid shots.

War Machine’s Auto-turret

Unlike War Machine’s Arsenal, Auto-turret is a purple epic-grade item that is, from my experience, slightly easier to find. However, much like the Arsenal, you’ll mainly find them as loot from Dr Doom and Avenger’s chests. Once you pick them up, you’ll automatically have them equipped for the rest of the round until you drop them.

As the name suggests, War Machine’s Auto-turret automatically shoots at other players as you approach them. This gives you another damage source that requires no input from you, and you can combine it with regular gunshots. It’s a great weapon if you have trouble aiming your crosshair or just want to be lazy for a round.

War Machine’s Hover Jets

War Machine’s Hover Jets are another epic grade you get from Dr Doom and Avenger’s chests. Once you pick it up, you can use the Hover Jets to fly in the air, giving you a height advantage against your enemy and allowing you to access tall buildings more easily.

While in the air, you can ascend, boost, or cancel hovering by using Space, L-Shift, and L-Ctrl, respectively, or your platform’s equivalent that you’ll find on the left side of your screen. Just be careful, as it has limited juice in its fuel and can easily lead you to an unfortunate fall if you can’t land on a safe platform in time.
