How to catch Skeleton Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Not so spooky or scary

There are a lot of fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but none of them are quite as interesting as the Skeleton Fish. I’m not sure whether it’s alive or dead, but it’s the perfect aquatic creature for the upcoming spooky season.

Although it’s not particularly good for profits or energy regeneration, there are still a couple of things that you need Skeleton Fish for. It’s an Eternity Isle fish, so you’ll only be able to catch it if you have Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Rift in Time DLC.

Where to catch Skeleton Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Skeleton Fish can be found in white fishing spots in the Glittering Dunes. They can also occasionally show up in blue fishing spots, but this is not as common. Skeleton Fish are one of three types of fish that can spawn in white fishing spots in the area, and it seems to be on the rarer side, so you may have to do a lot of fishing to find one.

Like I said, Skeleton Fish should not be your go-to if you’re trying to make some money or get your energy back in a hurry. On their own, they only sell for 100 Star Coins and give 500 energy. However, you can use Skeleton Fish to make Bony Osso Buco.

Bony Osso Buco sells for 272 Star Coins and will replenish 1,192 energy when consumed. To make it, you’ll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 Skeleton Fish
  • 1 Celery
  • 1 of any Vegetable
  • 1 Grapes

You’ll also need some Skeleton Fish to complete Rapunzel’s level 7 friendship quest, Glowing Up. To complete this quest, you need to craft the Eternal Sundrop Charm, which requires the following ingredients:

  • 5 Dream Shards
  • 3 Evergems
  • 8 Skeleton Fish
  • 4 Sundrop Petals
