How to build a Rebel Workbench in LEGO Fortnite

You'll need to fight some Stormtroopers.

Star Wars has taken over LEGO Fortnite, and if you fancy crafting Bowcasters, Blasters, and Thermal Detonators, you’ll need to know how to craft a Rebel Workbench. Thankfully, we know the recipe so you don’t have to stress.

If Rebel bases now in your world, and Stormtroopers roaming around, it’s worth being prepared for battle. That’s why the Rebel Workbench is so useful, as it lets you craft three weapons that could really help you survive.

LEGO Fortnite Rebel Workbench recipe

To build a Rebel Workbench in LEGO Fortnite, you will need:

  • 5 Wood
  • 8 Plastoid

How to get Plastoid in LEGO Fortnite

The key ingredient of Rebel Workbenches in LEGO Fortnite is Plastoid, a new material added with the Star Wars update. To get Plastoid, you need to take down Stormtroopers, who will spawn randomly throughout your world.

When eliminated, they’ll drop between two to four pieces of Plastoid. You’ll probably need to kill three of them to get enough to make the Rebel Workbench. You can also find Plastoid in Chests, but it’s more unreliable and I wouldn’t bank on it as your only way to find it.

What can you build with the Rebel Workbench?

As mentioned above, you can build three weapons with the Rebel Workbench:

  • Bowcasters
  • Blasters
  • Thermal Detonators

It’s well worth making one of these items, as it’ll not only help you create new items, but also complete one of the LEGO Fortnite Star Wars Quests.
