How to add the Rolling Giant to Lethal Company

The new scariest-looking monster in the game?

The official release of Lethal Company has no shortage of hideous monsters that serve as the true backbone of this amazing horror title, but you can always get more.

Some of the best parts of Lethal Company are its mod support and modding community, which don’t let a week pass by without creating at least one new awesome addition to the game. This time, we’re talking about the “Rolling Giant Mod”, which brings into the fold one of the creepiest parade mannequins I’ve ever seen.

How to add the Rolling Giant to Lethal Company?

You need to access the modā€™s page here. Click on Manual Download to get the Rolling Giant mod. Now, unless youā€™ve previously downloaded them to use with another mod, youā€™ll need BepInEx-BepInExPack.

Once youā€™ve downloaded both items, you need to move their contents to the gameā€™s installation folder.

If youā€™re having trouble finding your installation folder, go to your Steam library, left-click on Lethal Company, and choose properties. A window will pop up. Pick the Installed Files tab and click on Browse.

Then, go to the BepInEx folder, and copy and paste all its contents to your Lethal Company installation folder. Do the same with the contents of the Rolling Giant Mod folder, and you should be ready to go.

The Rolling Giant Mod adds:

But where does the Rolling Giant come from?

Oh, you want to give it an origin story to make it less frightening? That’s completely fine. The Giant is based on a real-life giant puppet who usually attends the Bridge-O-Rama parade of Giants in West Dallas, Texas. As for the puppet itself, it was made to honor a man named Julien Reverchon. He was actually a revered botanist, and his giant puppet was seemingly not supposed to be scary at all! You can learn more about the story of the man and of the giant here.

Good luck making use of that new knowledge to mitigate his horrifying gaze when you face him in-game, though!
