Battleborn will release worldwide on February 9, 2016.

The news was confirmed by 2K in this awesome new (and CAPSLOCK-HEAVY) trailer, which also announced four new player characters.

The roster will include Ambra (a priestess medic who deals up-close damage), Mellka (a stealthy assassin who uses nerve gas to incapacitate foes), Reyna (a freedom fighter leading a tribe of space pirates who uses laser pistols and the brute strength of her comrades), and Benedict (a “self-centered jerk capable of astounding destruction” courtesy of his rocket launcher).

The game supports solo and co-operative play-styles — including split-screen.

An open beta will be available prior to release, but as yet, there are no details on when we might expect it.

Battleborn is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
