So how about 2020 guys! Amid all of the awful things happening, marketing is sort of all over the place. We could get a massive first-party announcement at any point with no buildup! Cats and dogs I tell ya!

Billed as the “last partner showcase of the year,” Nintendo dropped new news on us today from studios both big and indie via a new Nintendo Direct Mini partner showcase. Here’s the rundown.

  • First up, Bravely Default II! Remember, this is a thing still. After getting a roughly four-minute rundown of some of the game’s mechanics, Nintendo dropped the news that the game finally has a release date: February 26, 2021.

    “Later today” we’ll get a full video rundown of some of the fan-requested changes based on the demo.

  • Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is due on March 23, 2021.
  • Surviving The Aftermath has a “spring 2021” window on Switch.
  • Immortals: Fenyx Rising is coming to Switch on December 3.
  • Nintendo reminds us that the WayForward Bakugan game is due on November 3.
  • The card-based Griftlands: Switch Edition has a “summer 2021” window for Switch.
  • Tropico 6 is arriving on Switch on November 6 of this year.
  • We’re also getting “cloud versions” of Hitman 3 (due in 2021) and Control Ultimate Edition (out today). 
  • No More Heroes 1+2  out today on Switch, while No More Heroes 3 is still coming in 2021.
  • Part Time UFO (which looks super cute) from HAL Laboratory is out today on Switch.
  • There’s going to be a Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity demo today.
