Platinum Games released a bunch of concept art for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance over on their official site. The artwork depicts the evolutions that went into creating some of the main bosses you’ll be fighting against in the game, like Samuel and Mistral.
Here’s the page on Samuel, and the other on Mistral. Mistral in particular went through some interesting changes.
