First up, Game Reactor has a ton of new screenshots and character art from Halo: Reach. And for whatever reason, their gallery features a plate of delicious looking shrimp. Shrimp confirmed for Halo: Reach?!

In other news, Halo: Reach is not Halo 4. This comes from Bungie as they clarify that Reach isn’t a continuation of the Master Chief story and that it’s not the start of a new trilogy. Joseph Tung tells Edge Magazine that Reach is “a completely standalone game.”

Well, duh. Besides, if we were to number all these games in the order they were released, then Reach would be Halo 5 technically. If we go by the timeline though, then Halo: Reach is Halo 1, Halo 1 is Halo 2, Halo 2 is 3, Halo: ODST is 4 and Halo 3 is Halo 5. Granted, if you factor in Halo Wars which happens before all the other games … well you get the point.

The really interesting part of this interview is when Joseph teases that players will want to replay Halo: Reach’s campaign. It sounds like players will be able to take multiple paths through the campaign and the latest Edge-Online interview confirms this.
