343 Industries warns of a known issue with Quick Resume and connections
The campaign portion ofĀ Halo InfiniteĀ is officially out today. But before you set off as Master Chief into a new adventure, make sure you’re keeping an eye on that online connection.
Users have been reporting issues with multiplayer cosmetics they’ve found in the world ofĀ Halo InfiniteĀ not showing up in their inventory. In the campaign, some armor lockers will have new cosmetics for your multiplayer Spartan; but if you’re offline or disconnected from services, they won’t show up.
This can occur when using the Quick Resume feature too, an issue that 343’s Brian Jarrard says the team is aware of and working on. He says the team will eventually have a retroactive fix, meaning those who have already been hit should still get their cosmetics. But if you’re booting upĀ Halo InfiniteĀ now, you should probably not continue any Quick Resume sessions, and make sure you’re online before nabbing any multiplayer cosmetics.
The team is aware and we will eventually have a retroactive fix (you will get the cosmetics youve earned). For now, I recommend not continuing a Quick Resume session and making sure youāre online before venturing into Zeta Halo. Thank you! (2/2)

So basically, if you want to make sure your cosmetics show up in the multiplayer side, make sure you’re online. Double-check it too. Because the list of rewards from the campaign are actually pretty slick, and you don’t want to be the Spartan behind on the fashion.
Halo Infinite‘s campaign has left a good impression on us already, and more of us are eager to hop in today. I’ve been re-watching thatĀ Breath of the Wild-style launch across the map over again throughout the day. I’m definitely down for some open-worldĀ Halo. Hopefully these fixes can roll in neat and fast so the good times can roll on.
