One of the biggest games of 2010, God of War III, has been deemed “complete” by Sony director John Hight. Kratos’ next big adventure has entered the beta testing phase, where the Ghost of Sparta is to be put through rigorous quality assurance.

“We just made beta with the game so we’re doing a lot of play-testing, tuning the game to make sure that it’s fun, got the right level of complexity and of course optimised so that it runs super-smooth,” confirms Hight. “The entire game is complete — we’re not adding anything to it.”

Barring any unforeseen problems, God of War III is still ready to hit the PS3 in March of next year. Should be a nice early big’un for Sony, and one can expect it to rival even Uncharted 2 in terms of massively positive reviews. PS3 fanboys will still find a reason to complain though, I’m sure.
