Rising Star games has dropped a launch trailer for Game Freak’s anime puzzle title Giga Wrecker Alt. The hi-tech adventure launched on PS4 yesterday, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One by the end of the week.

Set in a post-invasion world, Giga Wrecker Alt. sees players take control of Reika Rekkeiji, a young girl “cursed with cybernetic powers beyond comprehension”. Amidst the rubble and destruction of a now dying planet, Reika must use her various abilities to clear a path, negotiate the terrain, whilst combatting hostile forces that oppose her efforts.

As you can see from the trailer, Reika has a bit of a Tetsuo-deal going on with her arm, which can be utilised to solve the game’s many puzzles en route to the final showdown with the evil Ajeet. This “Alt.” variant of the original PC release includes 20 new puzzles, a secondary character designed to offer help and guidance, an extra difficulty setting for expert players, and a new localisation, along with multiple language options.

Giga Wrecker Alt. is available now on PS4, May 2 on Nintendo Switch, and May 3 on Xbox One.
