Gods Will Be Watching developer Deconstructeam has set up an IndieGoGo crowdfunding campaign for its intriguing, moral dilemma based point and click game. Trapped and awaiting rescue, the lives of you and your team are in your hands. How are you going to play it?

It reminds me quite a bit of John Carpenter’s indelible The Thing, tinged more sci-fi than horror/thriller, so I’m already down. The gorgeous pixel art, at once minimal and surprisingly detailed. helps, too. I’m also digging that title, which reminds me Only God Forgives is almost out.

What’s more, if you’re a bit hesitant, the team already has something you can play in your browser right now. Gods Will Be Watching stems from a 72 hour game jam, the surprisingly polished product of which can be found and played here. Inspires a bit of confidence in the project already; I’m excited to see these ideas dovetail into a meatier experience.
