It’s official. Hey…hey now! I told you to act surprised.
The PlayStation press conference at gamescom in Germany is taking place now, and it was there that Sony’s Andrew House took the stage and announced two new PlayStation 3s. There’s a 320 GB PS3 available at 349 Euro and a 160 GB for 299.
These units are just in time for the holiday season, and presumably replace the current options with larger sized harddrives.
If you’re in Europe, there’s also a new version of PlayTV called PlayTV Live Chat. It adds community features to the service, such as chat and program recommendations. Films are streamed It will be available in 18 countries at launch and will offer pay per view and subscription options.
