Gaming is a 4-star Pyro DPS in Genshin Impact who specializes in Plunging Attacks, raining death from above. Here are Gaming’s best artifacts and weapons to turn him into the deadliest of meteors!
Gaming’s best artifacts
Artifact Sets
4pc Crimson Witch of Flames (4CWoF)
In Vaporize teams, Gaming makes good use of 4CWoF’s reaction bonuses. He uses his Skill quite frequently, allowing him to gain stacks of Pyro DMG bonus from the artifact set’s 4pc effect.
4pc Marechausee Hunter (4MH)
Gaming can both drain his own HP and heal himself, making him a good user for this set. It does take one Plunging Attack for him to start stacking the 4pc effect, but subsequent plunges should receive the full buff. Be aware that, when combined with CRIT Rate weapons, 4MH makes it easy to overcap on CRIT Rate.
4pc Gilded Dreams (4GD)
As long as Gaming can consistently trigger Vaporize, he can take advantage of 4GD’s Elemental Mastery and ATK bonuses. The two sets above are better, but you may already have a usable 4GD set in your inventory.
2pc combos
If nothing else, you can combine 2pc sets with useful bonuses. This includes Pyro DMG, ATK, and Elemental Mastery.
Artifact Stats
Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
ATK Elemental Mastery | Pyro DMG | CRIT Rate/DMG |
If paired with Bennett or a Favonius holder, Gaming should shoot for around 160% Energy Recharge. If you have Gaming’s Constellation 4, he can get away with about 130%.
Aside from Energy Recharge, the rest of his stats should focus on CRIT, ATK, and Elemental Mastery (if Vaporizing). Choose a circlet based on whatever brings you closer to a 1:2 ratio of CRIT Rate to DMG.
Gaming’s best weapons
Serpent Spine
Despite its 4-star status, Serpent Spine can outperform the 5-star weapons below, especially with Refinements. Gaming’s health drain effects don’t count as damage, so you can maintain full stacks of its passive throughout his combo. Serpent Spine is obtained through the Battle Pass, so if you don’t want to spend $10, try one of the other options below.
Redhorn Stonethresher / Beacon of the Reed Sea / Verdict
These 5-star Claymores are little more than CRIT stat sticks, since Gaming makes poor use of their passives. Still, CRIT stats are so valuable that these are still great options overall.
Rainslasher
Depending on your team, Rainslasher can perform on par with the 5-star options above. Its Elemental Mastery secondary stat makes it only worth using in Vaporize teams. Refinements are helpful, if you have them.
Talking Stick / Mailed Flower / Wolf’s Gravestone / The Unforged
These are alternative options if you don’t have access to the other Claymores on this list. They vary in what exactly they do for Gaming, but the end results are pretty comparable in terms of DPS.
