Telestrations is like Pictionary but with a significantly more engaging twist. You’ll start out by drawing a word as per usual, and then pass the drawing over to the next player- but this time without anyone else seeing it. That person has to guess what it is, and then pass their guess over to the next player, who in turn draws that guess. It effectively becomes a telephone game in which the changes are evident in everyone’s silly sketches. Beyond the comedy, it’s also one of the best party board games for adults that we’ve ever played.

1. Monikers

Monikers is a hilarious, easy to play charades-like card game that just about everyone will enjoy (though we’ll note it’s really best for 18+). You’ll get a hand of cards with famous celebrities, historical figures, and fictional characters. In the first round, you can act and give clues, but you can’t say the actual name on the card. In the second round, you can only say one word. In the third round, it’s all up to your charades skills. Good luck acting out “Donald Trump’s hands”. It’s guaranteed to be insanely funny no matter what, and for that reason, it’s at the top of our list. It’s also perfect for just about any group size, welcoming anywhere from 4-16 players.
