Not content with dominating videogame-related web comics and then “reality tv” with Penny Arcade: The Series, the folks at Penny Arcade have launched PATV. Yes, as in “Penny Arcade Television,” just in case you’re having trouble with letters.

Launched today Launched such a long time ago that I was a fool for originally thinking that it launched today (via a press release dated December 29, 2009), the initial programming includes the aforementioned Penny Arcade: The Series, along with The 4th Panel (which looks at the Penny Arcade creative process), and Blamimations with Kris & Scott. The latter is a new series of original animated shorts by Kris Straub of chainsawsuit.com and Scott Kurtz of PVPonline.com; new episodes will be added monthly.

As for future content, Penny Arcade’s Robert Khoo explains they’ll be adding more as time goes on, so watch your asses!

“We’ll occasionally pick up more shows we think are funny, relevant, or a combination of the two, which we’re calling frelevant,” said Khoo, making up a word. “These three are just the beginning.  Hold on to your hats.”

Awesome, because I didn’t have plenty of other awesome things to occupy our time on the Internet. Now my cats will never get fed.
