Found: Gears 2 title update and ‘Snowblind’ Achievements

It’s safe to say that Epic’s third title update for Gears of War 2 is well on its way to hitting the planned March 24 release date. This afternoon, a Joystiq reader spotted a full listing of the unreleased content’s Achievements on Microsoft’s Xbox Web site. The majority of the ‘Cheevos reward players for reaching multiplayer rank benchmarks — the notable addition of the title update. The catch is that players will have to purchase the ‘Snowblind’ map pack in order to be rewarded for their multiplayer badassery. (It’s a bummer that Microsoft doesn’t allow developers to make Achievements whenever.)

• Rookie Gear (10 points) – Earn enough multiplayer experience to reach level 5 (Public only)
• Battle-Tested Gear (30 points) – Earn enough multiplayer experience to reach level 25 (Public only)
• Battle-Hardened Gear (50 points) – Reach level 50 and play a match on each of the 4 Snowblind Map Pack maps (Public only)
• Veteran Gear (75 points) – Reach level 100 and win a match on each of the 4 Snowblind Map Pack maps (Public only)
