Nobody knows when Fortnite servers will be back up for Chapter 6, Season 2, and players are getting impatient.

“The servers for Fortnite needs to comeback up already,” a frustrated player wrote. “Can Fortnite servers be up please,” another one added. A third fan wrote, “Hurry up Epic Games, we need the Fortnite servers back.”

Even big names of the Fortnite community, like leaker Shiina, added to the conversation. “The downtime needs to end,” they added.

Has the Fortnite Chapter 6, season 2 update been delayed?

Epic’s official server status account, @FortniteStatus, has not reported any delays for the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 update, suggesting that everything is proceeding as planned. Similarly, the Epic Games Public Status page shows no outstanding issues, marking all Fortnite services as “under maintenance” since 2 AM ET.

While some players may be feeling impatient, eager to experience the new season’s content—including the potential arrival of Midas’ Mammoth Pistol and other teased gameplay changes—there’s no reason for concern just yet.

For those anxiously waiting to jump back in, it’s best to hold on a little longer. At this point, maintenance is more likely nearing its end than just beginning.
