All Fortnite OG Week 1 quests

  • Discover named locations – 0/20 – As usual, this quest is essentially forcing you to acclimate to the new map, and will lead you around it to locate all of the new (old) areas. The exact spot for every named location can be found on the map above.
  • Damage opponents with Pistols or Sniper Rifles – 0/500 – Make it a point to pick up pistols or snipers in every match, just so you have an option. What I like to do is pick off easy targets or bad shots with weapons I may not be particularly well-versed with, and having them in your inventory will make this quest easy to complete. In fact, you can pick it as your focus quest to constantly remind you to use these weapons until the quest is complete.
  • Travel distance while sprinting – 0/1500 – This is another easy one. Sprinting returns from prior recent seasons, and you can use it to run from named location to named location.
  • Search chests – 0/10 – This quest is incredibly straightforward, but if you want to clear it faster, head to named locations.
  • Gain shields – 0/200 – This one may take you a few matches, but as soon as you land, try to find two small shield potions and one large shield potion; you’re halfway done with this quest! One easy way to complete it in one match is to take a few potshots from players whom you know you can take care of, then heal your shields back up with some potions in your inventory.
  • Deal damage to opponents – 0/3000 – All you need to do is deal 3000 damage to opponents (NPCs/players) and you’re good to go. You’ll likely finish this one in tandem with the pistols/sniper quest.

There you have it! It’s a fairly simple set of quests, so if you’re thinking of putting them off, just go ahead and get them done so you start making progress during this short season. Putting them off is fine too, since you’ll be able to complete these during normal runs without going out of your way.
