Fortnite‘s 29.30 update has officially arrived, and while it may not make sweeping changes to the battle royale, some interesting additions include a new Marvel crossover and the return of some vaulted weapons.
Two weeks after the 29.20 update which introduced the Avatar: The Last Airbender event, we’re now heading back to Marvel, with skins from Thor: Ragnarok set to appear in the game.
On top of that, Billie Eilish takes over Fortnite Festival, while LEGO Fortnite also receives some big updates this week. You can check out the full patch notes below.
Fortnite Festival Season Three: Billie Eilish
Lady Gaga’s time on the Fortnite Festival main stage has ended, with Billie Eilish taking her place. From now until June 13, players can complete Festival Quests to unlock special Billie Eilish-themed rewards, while also enjoying a selection of her music in the mode.
If you really want to show your love for Billie, you can also purchase the Premium Reward Track, which unlocks a special skin of the Bad Guy singer.
LEGO Fortnite: Farm Friends!
LEGO Fortnite also receives a fresh update with this patch, focusing on farming and specifically animals. You can now make animals part of your village, including cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs, which are new to this patch.
Players can build an Animal House, feed the creature they want with an Animal Treat, and then lead them back to their base.
Be wary though, as there is a new animal who isn’t so friendly, with Bears are now in the world and would love to destroy buildings.
Marvel Thor: Ragnarok skins
Almost seven years after its release, Thor: Ragnarok is coming to Fortnite, with Hela and Hulk getting new skins in the game.
Hela is seen in her full armor, including her awesome horned helmet, while Hulk is wearing the armor he fights Thor in during the Contest of Champions on Sakaar. You can take a look at the skins courtesy of HYPEX below.
Remove “Confrontational Emotes” setting
Are you sick of someone laughing at you? Never want to “Take the L” ever again? Then Fortnite‘s 29.30 update is for you, as the new “See Confrontational Emotes” setting means you can stop seeing them permanently.
The emotes that can be avoided are:
- Laugh It Up
- Take the L
- Whipcrack
- Make It Plantain
This setting can be turned on by going to the Social Privacy section of the settings.
