The new fighting game character news just keeps rolling in today! Courtesy of the latest issue of Famitsu, we get out first look at the newest addition to the Street Fighter world.

I continue to approach all Street Fighter IV news with cautious optimism. The game is being produced by a man who worked heavily on the god awful Capcom Fighting Evolution, and visually there are many niggling complaints to be made about the game thus far, but at least it’s a new Street Fighter game. That’s something I wasn’t sure I’d ever see. Now Street Fighter IV officially has given us something we never had in the Street Fighter world before — a red haired, brown-skinned woman with a flair for half-opened, button-up shirts and hair styles popular with Japanese biker gangs in the 1950s.

My feelings on this are understandably mixed. I’m just hoping that unlike Poison for Final Fight, Crimson Viper will never give me cause to think “WHY PENIS WHY?”
