If you’ve reached Bloodsworn rank with all three Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker Tribes, then you’re all set to go and unite the Tribes in an effort to bring fun and excitement to Ultima Thule. This time, you’ll get the new Lop Hop Dance emote, plus a housing item for your efforts.
For those of you who haven’t improved their standing with the FFXIV Endwalker Tribes, we’ve got you covered with Arkasodara, Omicron, and Loporrits unlock how-to’s and quest guides. The Tribal Alliance questline is the finale to all three of these, so you won’t be able to begin until reaching those reputation milestones.
Dinner and a Show (Tribal Quest)
To begin your journey in the Tribal Alliance, head to Ultima Thule and find Jammingway (X:27.5, Y:24.5) in A-4 Research. She’ll give you the quest, and after some back and forth, it’s time to travel to Mare Lamentorum.
Teleport to Bestway Burrows and make your way to Hoper’s Hold (where you’d usually pick up quests for the Loporrit tribe). Talk to Jammingway (X:18.1, Y:15.7) and join her as she inspects each section of the Hold, weighing up the pros and cons of adding their contents to the Last Dregs.
Find Dreamingway (X:17.6, Y:16.2), triggering a cutscene that’ll lead you back to Thavnair’s Arkasodara Tribe, it’s time to go see Trna.
Head to Svarna in Thavnair and find Trna (X:19.9, Y:27.6), who is distinctly uncomfortable with the fact that Jammingway has been staring at her for quite some time. As you talk to her, you’ll find that she is reluctant to leave Thavnair behind for even a little while in case the Hippo Riders fall apart in her absence.
Speak to Jammingway (X:19.8, Y27.6) who, in their frustration, calls a strategizing meeting under a nearby pole, because it’s “as good a place as any”. While trying to come up with ideas, you’ll be joined by Acala — he’s worried about Trna and the Hippo Riders.
Talk to Trna again; you’ll have a lot of dialogue options to choose from. I’d recommend going through all of them, as there are a lot of humorous dialogue interactions in this segment. Once you’ve convinced her that Svarna will be fine, talk to Jammingway again to complete “Dinner and a Show.”
A Dream Worth Chasing (Quest)
To begin the second quest in the Endwalker Allied Tribe storyline, talk to Jammingway (X:19.8, Y:27.6), where you left them in Svarna before heading to the Last Dregs in Ultima Thule.
Here, talk to N-7000 (X:25.5, Y:26.3), who will tell you that they have set up a race to be witnessed and partaken by the patrons of the Last Dregs. Jammingway is upset that the patrons seem to have disappeared, but is reassured when N-7000 informs them that they have gone to practise their flying skills.
Head down to A-4 Research and find Inventingway (X:31.2, Y:27.5), who will tell you that they’ve constructed the perfect race vehicle in the form of a specially modified, albeit a little bit dodgy, Lunar Hopper. When you’re convinced (or not, you don’t get a choice in the matter) to take part in the race, head back to the enthusiastic N-7000 (X:27.5, Y:24.5).
What follows is an introduction to a racecourse featuring literal artillery fire and rings that must be passed through. Don’t worry, you won’t actually have to navigate the course, you’ll just get to sit back and relax as you watch the action unfold, enjoying the commentary provided by Dreamingway and Talkingway.
When you’re ready to begin the race, head to the starting line at the Ragnarok (X:13.7, Y:33.5). You’ll dive into a very long and enjoyable cutscene that, apart from one decision to make towards the end, is entirely stress-free. Aside from the crashes… And the artillery fire… Okay, so it’s kind of stressful, but it is fun to watch.
Tribal Quest Rewards: The Lop Hop Dance
At the end of this race, talk to Jammingway (X25.5 Y26.2) at the Last Dregs to complete the quest line and increase your rank with all three Endwalker Tribes to Allied. You also get new FFXIV rewards for bragging rights, like the Hyper Hustle Trophy and darling Lop Hop Dance emote.
