FFXIV: All PvP mounts and how to get them

Even the humiliating losses are for a good cause

If you’re looking for some badass mounts in Final Fantasy XIV, look no further than PvP. All you need to do is dive in and, for the most part, win matches. Now I know this is easier said than done, but I do think these mounts are worth the pain and effort.

Excluding those which are no longer available (such as ones from previous Feast/Crystalline Conflict seasons or PvP series), there are a total of 14 mounts up for grabs for completing various milestones in PvP. Not all of them are created equal, with some being much more difficult to get than others, but they’re all worth aiming for.

There is one mount which is much easier to get than any other of the PvP mounts. The Magitek Sky Armor is obtained through exchanging 20,000 Wolf Marks, which you earn through simply playing PvP whether you win or lose the match. To get the Magitek Sky Armor, talk to the Mark Quartermaster in Wolves’ Den Pier (X:4.5, Y:6.0) and navigate to Miscellaneous.

I’m going to split the remaining 13 mounts into three categories; Crystalline Conflict, General PvP, and Garo.

There is currently only one mount which is solely gained through Crystalline Conflct – the Gloria-class Airship. It’s a very cool mount, admittedly, but it’s not easy to get. As such, it’s one of the rarest mounts in FFXIV as a whole. To get the Gloria-class Airship, you’ll need to win 200 Crystalline Conflict matches.

There are nine mounts up for grabs for those who are able to win enough matches to claim them. These will be rewarded as part of an achievement (shown in bold in the table below), so you’ll need to claim them from within the achievement menu.

Garo mounts in Final Fantasy XIV

These mounts are only available as long as the Garo collaboration event is active, which it is at the time of writing and we don’t have an end date yet.

To get these mounts, you’ll need to first earn one of the 20 titles available through the event. There’s one for every available Job, and to get one, you need to complete the entire set of gear for that Job. These gear pieces are obtained through exchanging Wolf Marks with the Disreputable Priest in Wolves’ Den Pier (X:5.0, Y:5.3).
