There are a number of vendors in Fields of Mistria, and all of them come with a specific stock of goods. Balor has his Wagon, which is situated to the south of Mistria, and sells some useful items.

The stock at Balor’s Wagon will change daily, so it’s always worth checking back each day. This is especially true near the beginning of a playthrough, as you could get lucky and find items needed for the Museum, and Balor even sells items outside of the season in which they would usually spawn. 

There are five different tabs at Balor’s Wagon, each including a different type of item to be purchased. 

Crafting Scrolls sold at Balor’s Wagon

Crafting Scrolls can be used from within your inventory to learn a new Woodcrafting recipe. There are a total of nine Recipe Scrolls that can currently be bought from Balor, and once you’ve purchased all of them, the tab will remain empty until further recipes are added.

The following Recipe Scrolls cost 300 Tesserae each:

  • Ornate Small Rug
  • Ornate Medium Round Rug
  • Ornate Medium Square Rug
  • Ornate Large Round Rug
  • Ornate Large Square Rug
  • Ornate Large Rectangle Rug
  • Tile Roof Fence
  • Moon Gate

The following Recipe Scroll costs 700 Tesserae each, but you learn a long list of recipes from it:

There is a long list of items that can potentially show up for sale at Balor’s Wagon, and while not all of them can be donated to the Museum, a lot of them can be. This can be incredibly useful during early gameplay or if you didn’t manage to find something in its usual season.

There are a total of 16 Cosmetic items that can be purchased at Balor’s Wagon for 500 Tesserae each. As with Recipe Scrolls, these can be used to dress up your character after using the item in your inventory. Once you’ve purchased all of these items, either from Balor’s Wagon or from Louis’ stall at the Saturday Market, the tab will remain empty until more Cosmetics items are added—much like how Recipe Scrolls work.
