The COD Next 2024 stream unpacks loads of upcoming Black Ops 6 and Warzone content. From returning maps to surprising new features, there’s a lot to unravel with this latest Call of Duty reveal, gearing you up for the official BO6 launch.

You’ll undoubtedly spot some familiar features if you’re a Black Ops Cold War fan. Even those who are Warzone players can try out BOCW-inspired mechanics, which are set to revolutionize your play style. There are also several brand-new mechanics that have never been seen before, including a vast array of weaponry.

Here’s a look into all the announcements from the COD Next 2024 event, including Black Ops 6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

All new Black Ops 6 Multiplayer features revealed during COD Next 2024

  • A new Kill Order mode will be available for the beta and launch. In this challenge, each team harnesses a High Value Target (HVT), a randomly selected player that must be protected. Eliminate the enemy’s HVT to rack up some points.
  • The Replacer character from Black Ops 4 returns in Black Ops 6.
  • 12 all-new weapons that are inspired by the ’90s era.
  • More experimentation with an updated Gunsmith. Certain classes like Optics also include different unlock progression. They’ll be available to all weapons, regardless of whether you’ve leveled them up or not.
  • A new camo system is on its way, bringing back reticle customization.
  • Return of Prestige system and Medals with new challenges and rewards themed around past Black Ops titles.
  • A new wave of Calling Card and Dark Ops challenges. Unlock unique rewards by playing the Campaign, Zombies, Warzone, and Multiplayer.
  • Ranked Play will be rolling out much earlier than usual, with an RP launch by Season 1.
  • Any weapons created in Black Ops 6, Zombies, or Warzone will be connected with Global Weapon Builds. Any time you edit a loadout, it’ll apply to the builds in other modes.

All new Black Ops 6 Zombies features revealed during COD Next 2024

  • Wonder Weapon skins will be available, likely changing your guns’ designs.
  • Take advantage of the Aetherella trap, a life-sized action figure that zaps nearby zombies in Liberty Falls Comic Shop or Dark Aether Field Trap.
  • An inside look into Liberty Falls, the new Zombies map of Black Ops 6. Explore a small town in West Virginia and defeat the undead. It’ll also be much more open and brighter than Terminus, the second Zombies map.
  • Become a Mangler when reaching a certain scorestreak, giving you the power of this iconic Zombies mini-boss.
  • New progression challenge rewards, including Afterlife and Nebula animated camos.
  • Zombies can now evolve, changing their forms to increase the challenge.
  • A third Zombies map will be released by the end of this year.

All new Warzone features revealed during COD Next 2024

  • New Resurgence map, Area 99, will be available to play in Season 1. It is known as the “birthplace of Nuketown,” which you may remember from past Black Ops iterations.
  • The original Warzone map, Verdansk, makes its return in 2025.
  • Black Ops 6’s Omnimovement will be a part of Warzone soon.
  • Black Ops Cold War‘s Wildcards are coming to Warzone, featuring the return of the Gunfighter and Overkill perks. You’ll get to choose abilities with the 3 Perk system and discover eight additional perks when in-game. Plus, abilities will be combined for improved buffs, including a blend of Combat Scout and Tracker for the Grenadier Perk.
  • Get ready for the Classic Prestige debut, featuring 55 Military Levels, 10 Prestige Tracks, and Master Prestige Track.
  • The upcoming Warzone updates offer its own progression track, with camos like Gold Tiger, King’s Ransom, and Catalyst.
  • Upgrades to Armors and Munitions are on the way, using the new Satchel feature. Equip more armor and ammo with these latest tools.
  • When you switch to a melee weapon, you’ll activate an infinite tac sprint.
  • Sprays and emotes will return to Warzone, making your mark across the battlefield.
  • You can expect plenty of quality-of-life improvements, such as better loot spreads, rarity outlines, and movement upgrades.
  • Season 1 launch brings Ranked Play to the Urzikstan map.
  • Try out the new equipment for lethal and field upgrades, including the Neurogas Mine, Blast Trap, Combat Axe, Care Package.
  • A new inventory system, where the backpack will no longer be available.
