Yes, Elite: Dangerous is coming to Xbox One, and the game finally has a release date announced of October 6 this year.

Speaking to fans on a Reddit AMA, studio CEO David Braben announced that the Horizon expansion would also be coming to Xbox One, but did not announce a time frame for its release.
