EA FC 25 is set to introduce major QoL changes in Ultimate Team

EA FC 25‘s release might be a couple of months away, but EA Sports is already promising some significant changes in Ultimate Team.

While detailed deep dives are scheduled to take place in July and August, a community pitch announced a few tweaks to the existing systems in EA FC 24. According to the developers, they have considered the valuable feedback of the community. If appropriately implemented, the QoL changes will be massively beneficial for all those who grind the Ultimate Team mode in every FC title.

EA FC 25’s QoL changes include the removal of contracts and better fodder management

There have been some constant issues for Ultimate Team users in EA FC 24 – poor fodder management, contracts, and the restrictive nature of evolutions. While contracts are still easy to get, managing duplicate fodder is a nightmare. Similarly, most evolutions would have done better if they had been easier to complete and had more eligible cards.

While EA Sports hasn’t disclosed all the changes coming to Ultimate Team in EA FC 25, there won’t be any contracts. In fact, you’ll be free to use any card as many times as you wish. Similarly, a separate section called SBC storage will be introduced. Here, you can save up to 100 duplicate cards and use them later as you see fit.

Finally, it seems that evolutions are getting some significant upgrades. According to EA Sports, future evolutions will have a lot more freedom while choosing eligible cards. Similarly, the developers will aim to bring more evolutions to benefit the community.

These changes, coupled with planned tweaks for Division Rivals, look promising. That’s what a large part of the FC community also had to say after going through today’s community pitch notes from EA Sports.
