It’s the time of the year when about a week is left before you can enjoy EA FC 25 on your preferred platform.
There are plenty of changes coming to this year’s title, and EA Sports has showcased many of those as part of the deep dives. If the developers follow the same routine they have followed over the last couple of years, you’ll be able to pre-download the files before the early access begins on September 20. Let’s take a look at the file sizes and how much storage space will be consumed by the football simulator.
EA FC 25 Xbox file size
Typically, the first platform where you can pre-download is Xbox. This is no different this year, with the Xbox One version having a file size of 43.10 GB. This is a similar number to EA FC 24, and you can download your copy if you are on that platform.
The current-gen version is bigger and will require 48.10 GB of download. It also has loads of extra features, like HyperMotion, which has a telling impact on the gameplay.
EA FC 25 PC file size
Yes, the pre-load option for PC players is also up. You’ll need to install the EA app (this is also mandatory for playing the game). The pre-load file size for PC is the same as that on Xbox Series X|S. You’ll need to keep at least 48.10 GB free on the drive you want to install the game on. Unlike consoles, there’s no way to play the old-gen version on PC.
EA FC 25 PlayStation file size
The file size on PS4 is similar to what’s required on Xbox One. However, the current-gen version requires you to download 53.10 GB of data. This is also the biggest file size of all the available versions. You can pre-load the game ahead of its early access launch.
