Season 4 will be going live in EA FC 25 right after Christmas, and you’ll have extra incentives to grind the Champions Finals to the best of your abilities.
As announced by EA Sports, all ranks will have guaranteed promo cards, and for the first three weeks, finishing in Rank 9 or above (4 wins or more) will fetch you guaranteed special cards from the Winter Wildcards promo. This comes right after the decision to reduce the requirements for Weekend League qualification, making it simpler for the more casual players. From the earlier 3/5 win requirements, players will now have to win just 2 games out of 5 to qualify for the Finals.

Basically, EA Sports has replaced the Champions Mode Mastery picks with Winter Wildcards, and the changes feel neat. Weekend League has been extremely difficult so far, but things should get a bit easier if more casual players decide to participate. With the changes in qualifications, EA Sports has returned to the older system from FC 24 (you have to win 40% of your qualifiers to play in the Finals).
