The Welcome to Rush mode is currently available in EA FC 25‘s Ultimate Team, and it’s the go-to mode for grinding out all the weekly objectives.
While Welcome to Rush is pretty similar to the normal Rush mode, there are some restrictions. For starters, you can’t use any untradeable item, and you also can’t use any item that has an overall higher than 79. In simpler words, all your flashy player cards – the Bellinghams and the Origin Heroes, can’t be used in this mode. Like every game mode of EA FC 25, certain cards will perform better than the rest.
Best players to use in EA FC 25’s Welcome to Rush games
When deciding on the list, I have also factored in the usual bonus objectives. These objectives provide you with bonus points for a completed game, and they’re excellent ways to complete the seasonal/weekly objectives tied with the Rush mode.
Player | OVR | Reason |
---|---|---|
Lutsharel Gaertruida | 79 | Despite being a defender, Gaertruida has good pace and passing abilities. |
Carlos Augusto | 79 | An extremely well-rounded card who can also help you complete bonus objectives that require Serie A/Brazilian players |
Martin Terrier | 79 | An underrated attacker who has good shooting skills, and a great combination of French/Bundesliga item. |
Antonee Robinson | 79 | Great defensive unit with good passing skills, and perfect for completing bonus goals that require you to use a footballer from the Premier League/USA. |
Goncalo Ramos | 79 | One of the best attackers to use in the ongoing limited mode. |
Lukas Klostermann | 79 | One of the quickest defensive cards that you can use with the current overall cap. |
Alejandro Garnacho | 79 | Not only does Garnacho have a decent pace on his item, but he is great at completing different bonus goals. |
Joao Neves | 79 | One of the most well-rounded midfielders to use in the current level cap. Neves is equally good at winning the ball, and making key passes. |
Matheus Nunes | 79 | Nunes is pretty good when it comes to quickly moving the ball up the field, and his finishing is more than enough to score a few goals. |
Karim Adeyemi | 79 | Thanks to his playstyle+, Adeyemi enjoys a huge advantage over other cards with similar ratings |
With the current overall cap of 79, you’re forced to stay away from the top cards from your club. That doesn’t necessarily mean that you can’t have fun in Rush. Do remember to pass the ball, which is one of the major concerns with the mode. Knowing when to pass the ball makes a big difference and squads that usually do that end up winning more often than not.
