Dynasty Warriors for PS Vita inspired by Infinity Blade?

Two new gameplay videos have surfaced for the PlayStation Vita version of Dynasty Warriors, and while one of them shows more traditional hack n’ slash action, it would appear that one-on-one duels with rival officers take a leaf from Infinity Blade‘s book. 

The above bout between Zhao Yun and Lu Bu shows slashing and tapping touch controls from a fixed perspective, evoking thoughts of ChAIR’s incredibly popular iOS game. 

I dislike how Omega Force regularly refuses to put a “real” Dynasty Warriors game on mobile devices, but I’m strangely okay with this. I love Infinity Blade, so doing that with DW characters is awesome. Just make sure there’s plenty of hack n’ slash gameplay too, and I’m sold.
