How to unlock Future Gohan in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero
You can unlock Future Gohan in two ways: Buy him from the shop for 60,000 Zeni or complete Defiance in the Face of Despair! Bonus Battle. For the first method, level up your Player Level to unlock more options at the shop. You’ll increase this rank gradually by completing Episode Battles, participating in fights, and making wishes with Shenron, Porunga, or Super Shenron.
Once you’ve leveled it up a good bit, Future Gohan should appear in the shop eventually. But if you don’t want to wait around for his appearance, you can opt for the Bonus Battles via the Custom Battles section. The Defiance in the Face of Despair quest rewards you with Future Gohan, but it’ll be locked at first. To obtain it, complete the Stop Android! mission.
The Stop Android! quest puts Krillin, Gohan, and Vegeta against Android 16, 17, and 18. You won’t have to defeat all three Androids, but you’ll need to eliminate one at the very least. I suggest getting rid of Android 18 immediately since her special has the potential to one-hit kill. Or, you can switch between characters to force the opponent to swap her out (Android 16 is pretty easy to defeat).
When you’ve completed Stop Android!, scroll down to begin the Defiance in the Face of Despair Bonus Battle. This time, you’ll have only Future Gohan on your team as he goes against Android 17 and 18. Use Future Gohan’s various abilities, like Masenko and Super Kamehameha, to take them down quickly. You can also uncover his Super Saiyan transformation to get even more robust skills.
Trunks will provide you with Senzu Beans to help you during the match. Look out for the prompt to consume them at the center of your screen, thus replenishing your health.
You’ll earn rewards for the Androids’ defeat, including Future Gohan, Zenni, and Player EXP. Even if you have already purchased Gohan at the store, the Zenni you’ve spent on him will return to your inventory after this Bonus Battle. Now, you can increase his Proficiency level to unlock his unique Titles in Zen-Ohs Orders.
