Making its return from Budokai Tenkaichi 3, the way Broly’s Ring allows you to lock your character’s (or team’s) ability to transform and fuse mid-battle makes it one of the most unique Ability Items in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero.

How to get Broly’s Ring in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero

You can get Broly’s Ring in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero by summoning either Porunga or Super Shenron, heading to “I want Ability Items” and then selecting it among the given options. Be aware, however, as the ability to pick the item will only become available after you reach Player Level 20.

As mentioned earlier on, once equipped with any character via the Customize tab, the item will stop both your team and non-Episode Battle CPU opponents from fusing and transforming mid-battle.

On that note, I do not recommend equipping the item even if only to see its effects right now, as Broly’s Ring is suffering from what I believe to be a bug, which makes players unable to disable its effects even after unequipping it from their chosen character or replacing it. Many players also claim that the ring is causing online match issues, but we were unable to confirm that in-game.

How to fix the Broly’s Ring bug and remove its effect in Sparking Zero

• Head to Customize while selecting the character equipped with the ring.
• Select Remove All when on the Ability Items page.
• Save your choice by returning to the character selection screen.
• Close and then restart the game.
