Though I’m not the biggest fan of the Dragon Ball anime series, I’ve always been a sucker for the games based on it. This year’s Dragon Ball FighterZ absolutely mesmerized me at EGLX earlier this month and the Budokai trio replaced the Godzilla fighting games for me and my friends as the go-to party beat’em ups. Dragon Ball Legends reminds me of those high-flying fighters from a decade ago, but playable on my phone.

Earlier today, as Bandai Namco detailed its mobile strategy for the coming year, it gave us our first look at Legends with the trailer below. This free-to-play mobile card-fighter will feature a new main character created by Akira Toriyama and allow for worldwide battles using the Google Cloud Platform. You can pre-register for the game right now on Google Play. Here’s to hoping your phone is powerful enough to run it.
