Recently we talked about some issues with Sony’s 2.0 PS4 firmware update, and certain users were experiencing lock-up problems. Now there’s a new issue that has been rather widespread: The system won’t boot from standby mode.

Currently, a number of PS4 owners recommend not putting your console into standby mode, and instead turning it off completely. Sony has also recommended going to your settings menu in the power save section and turning “Supply Power to USB Ports while in standby” to “off.”
